For those in French-Land, Tumblroid is being used as part of the marketing campaign for the new LG Optimus. The idea is you can choose from a selection of applications that best describes you - these can then be posted on your facebook!

I don’t think it’s a good idea to add the suffix “roid” to the end of anything. Android phones have ruined my life because DROID is now a household name, and third party app writers think they’re being clever by naming apps “Tumblroid” and “Scraproid.” Why? I mean, I get that it’s tumblr for the droid. I get it. But adding “roid” on to anything just makes me think...
