New Tumblroid: Reblogging FIXED!
I’m sorry.
I’m an idiot.
While redesigning the next big version of Tumblroid I noticed something while recoding the reblogging bit. It was caused if you reblog something that is not on the first page of your dashboard, one of the variables was not read correctly which produced the error when reblogging. A new quick update version is now live on the market.
*facepalm*
(ps: I’ve also made a few other changes, let me know if you’re still getting force close issues with this version)
Just a quick tumblroid survey
If viewing the dashboard and you click on a picture. When pressing back to return to the dash, do you return to the original post or the top of your dash?
Just wondering as its always worked fine for me but I’ve had one or two emails recently saying otherwise.
Cheers
Anonymous asked: Why can't I find the download for tumbrloid? I guess I'm brain dead. lol
try this link:
market://details?id=com.jamesob.tumblroid
or maybe this QR barcode will work?
(I haven’t tried it)
Please be aware that this is only for countries that support paid applications. Otherwise you can look into a application called Market Enabler.
New Tumblroid: Hello Youtube videos!
Been working hard on a new version with a bunch of new features. This is a half way point which I thought I should release to see if you all think I’m heading in the right direction.
New Features:
- Force Close Issues addressed
Thanks to android’s new report feature, I’ve been able to find out the route to a lot of peoples problems. Hopefully I’ve fixed these, get back to me if you’re still having problems :)
- View Profiles
Tumblr has been nice and released a lovely mobile version of their website. My thinking is that tumblroid, like tumblr for the iphone, should utilize this and act as a intelligent wrapper for the mobile website.
You can now view your friends profiles and all their posts, follow/unfollow, like and reblog - all the things you’d want to do.
- New Menu
Had a few people saying the buttons in the top right were too small, so I’ve added these to the menu bar. Also requested was an exit button, so thats been included too.
- Youtube/Flash Support
If you’re lucky enough to be running android 2.2, you can view flash in your browser, so why not with your tumblr posts? This is now enabled so you can view your friends youtube videos from within Tumblroid.
(They sometimes don’t show on the dashboard, but if you click their profile it can be seen through there.)
The future:
Now I have a list of things I want to do (widget, video, image quality etc) but the question is, what do you want to see? Please comment below and let me know :)
absurdical asked: Considering purchasing Tumblroid, but wondering: does the app provide a link in the share menu to post something to tumblr? Like if I want to share a photo in the gallery and I press menu and share, will tumblr be an option? Thanks!

Yep, you can share links from your web browser and images from your gallery :)
